Mathematics & Physics Masters Student (Warwick University)
Proactive computational researcher, ranked in the 'Top 5' of my university cohort. Proven success in translating cutting-edge mathematical theory into commercial-grade, high-performance software. Inventive science communicator, and believer in the idea that the most complex behaviours stem from elegantly simple rules.
I'm Alfie Kunz, an undergraduate at the University of Warwick (2023-27) currently pursuing a master's degree in Mathematics & Physics, with a keen interest in Computer Science.
I have a profound eagerness in exploring the world of Fluid Dynamics, Emergent Behaviours in Biophysics, and Computational Modelling through Numerical Simulations (usually coded in C#, VB.Net, Python, or HLSL), to better understand how complex, organic patterns (be it multi-cellular organisms, to vast weather systems) stem from elegantly simple structures.
Beyond my degree, I find fulfilment in creative streams such as Music (I am a self-taught pianist of 15 years), Photography (I particularly enjoy street & landscape photography, and regularly take on paid event work, such as society balls, corporate gigs, and wedding receptions) and Sports.
I'm at my best when connecting with new people and hosting engaging experiences - whether it's designing & running social deduction and puzzle games for my University (which requires a keen eye for problem-solving!), competing in board games & escape rooms with friends, or simply watching in amusement as my carefully planned mechanisms unfold.
